It is God’s desire that everyone believes on Him for salvation (1 Timothy 2:4) and that is our desire as well.  God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for us (John 3:15-17) and anyone who believes on Jesus will be saved (Romans 10:9,10,13).  Jesus paid the penalty for our sin and made salvation and eternal life His free gift to us!

We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion in water of a believer, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, with the authority of the local church. It is an act of obedience and is an outward symbol of an inward changing of the heart. We will baptize anyone who has received Christ as their personal Savior and who desire to make a public profession of their faith. (Acts 2:41, 10:47-48)

We believe that the best way to connect to the church is through serving and using the gifts that God has given us to serve others is one of the best ways to serve Jesus.  At IBT, we have plenty of ways to serve, whether its in our kids or teens ministry, our bus ministry, worship team, cafe or in another one of our ministries.  Join the church and then serve the church! (1 Peter 4:10, Galatians 5:13-14)

In Hebrews 10:25 Paul reminds us not to forsake the “assembly of ourselves together…and so much the more as you see the day approaching.” This applies to our Sunday church attendance but also meeting together in small groups. We believe small groups are a great way to study God’s Word and grow in fellowship with one another.

We take the command of “Go ye into all the world…” (Mark 16:15) as the basis of our local and worldwide missions efforts.  We are honored to financially support missionaries all over the world including Chili, the Philippines, Russia, Israel, India, England, Japan, and many more countries.  Locally we support Child Evangelism Fellowship, Life Centers, Heritage Baptist College, and Advance, a church planting ministry.

We believe the local church to be the Body of Christ; comprised solely of Scripturally baptized believers associated by a covenant of faith and fellowship of the gospel. We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the local New Testament church and we desire for anyone to be a part of this fellowship.  (Ephesians 2:18-23)
